    Quick Project Steps

Glue the Cabochon: Attach the 10mm cabochon to the ultra-suede backing using a strong jewelry glue. Let it dry completely. Start Two-Bead Backstitch: Thread a size 10 beading needle with gray DragonThread. Pick up two 11/0 seed beads, stitch near the cabochon’s edge, and secure. Continue adding pairs of beads around the cabochon. Reinforce the Bead Ring: Sew through all added beads a second time to tighten and secure the bezel. Trim the Backing: Carefully cut the ultra-suede close to the outer bead line, keeping the cut even without cutting the thread. Prepare Brick Stitch Edge: Start the decorative edge using three-bead picot groups: pick up three 11/0s, skip one bead, and stitch through the next. Work Around the Perimeter: Continue adding three-bead picot groups evenly around the earring edge for a uniform decorative finish. Secure Final Stitches: As you finish the last beads, loop through and reinforce the connections. Tie Off the Thread: Knot the thread securely on the back side, weaving into several beads for extra strength. Burn and Smooth Ends: Use a thread zapper or lighter to carefully burn off and seal any loose thread tails. Attach Earwire: Use a jump ring or wire to connect the earring to an earwire for wearing.

I love everything about Potomac beads, except for the dragon fire white thread. I bought the time before it was a 250 spool and I bought 5 pound because the 6 pound I had was just humongous you've done some changing with your threads since the last time I bought some. I fell and broke my right arm and my rotator cuff and wasn't able to be for quite a while. I just pulled out the 5 pound white thread. I bought the time before and tried it. I don't even think I could bezel with it. The 6 pound does beautiful. I took one arm span of thread off the spool and I won't be using it. It's a shame because I truly love yours thread.
