Bring on the bling and step out in style with these Queen Stud Earrings, a larger version of PotomacBeads Princess Studs.
Gather up your Potomac crystal rivoli, Miyuki seed beads and glue-on pad post. A size 12 needle works best and you will use about 2.5feet of .006 thread. Pliers and a thread zap will make your beading easier.
Thread 28 gold seed beads onto your thread and tie into a knot. Sew back through seven of the beads. Pick up eight of the gray seed beads and sew back through the seven beads. Follow along with Allie in the Queen stud earrings tutorial to build up the base for the ear post.
Once the crystal is put in place, use the seed beads to hold it in place by creating a lattice look on top.
