Quick Project Steps

These Linear Earrings feature a tubular herringbone stitch with an ombre color scheme. They can easily be made to the length that suits your style. Using the antique brass leverbacks gives these Linear Earrings a fabulous vintage look.
Gather up your Miyuki Delicas, Potomac Crystal Rondelles, wire guards and leverback. You will use about four feet of thread and a size 10 needle. Begin by adding a stop bead to the thread. Add two delica beads and let them drop down to the stop bead, sew back up through the first bead. Add another delica and go back into the first bead. Sew back through the bead and add another bead. When you have four bead of your ladder stitch you will make into a tubular shape by bringing the thread through bead four and back down through bead one.
Start the tubular Herringbone stitch. Watch the linear earrings tutorial with Allie for step-by-step directions. Once you're done twenty rows of Herringbone stitch, you will begin adding the crystals.
Add a wireguard at the top and sew back down through, adding some seed beads to reinforce the linear jewelry. Put on your earwire making sure the front is facing out.
These Linear earrings from PotomacBeads are so simple to create and can be made using endless color arrangements. Make multiple pairs to match multiple outfits. These earrings are a great way to add a pop of color to any outfit.
