Materials Used To make The  Project

Quick Project Steps

Gather Materials: You will need Miyuki Tila beads, 15/0 seed beads, beading thread, and two needles.
Thread Preparation: Cut 23 inches of thread, pre-thread two 15/0 seed beads, three Tila beads, and then two more 15/0 seed beads.
Weaving Start: Using two needles, go through the Tila beads from opposite ends, ensuring the seed beads sit snugly against the Tila beads.
Creating the Checker Pattern: Alternate the colors of Tila beads for the checker pattern, adding two 15/0 seed beads at the ends before passing through the Tila beads.
Finishing the Bead: Repeat the process for a total of three layers of Tila beads, finishing with passing through all beads to tighten the weave.
Final Touches: Optionally, add jump rings to turn your checker bead into a wearable piece.
