The Basket SuperDuo Earrings by Sheryl Steele uses circular peyote to build a pair of superduo earrings. Combine the 2 hole Czech superduo beads with size 8 seed beads to create an elegant stacked earring. Add an amazing Potomac pick czech glass drop to the bottom of the component using a wire head pin for a dramatic effect.

    Quick Project Steps

    Step 1: Create the interior loop of the earring base using six SuperDuo beads. Step 2: Use circular peyote stitch with SuperDuo beads, adding an 8/0 seed bead in the center for decoration. Step 3: Progress from the interior hole to the exterior hole of the SuperDuo beads, filling the space between with two more SuperDuos. Step 4: Continue circular peyote, adding an 8/0 seed bead between each SuperDuo bead. Step 5: Add a SuperDuo bead at the top for the next section or an 8/0 seed bead to finish a single design. Step 6: Reinforce the wire guard with two lines of thread and add an 8/0 seed bead. Step 7: Weave the thread through the piece to tie it off. Step 8: Add a drop bead to the bottom using a head pin, connecting it to the 8/0 seed bead parallel to the wire guard. Step 9: Attach the ear wire to the wire guard to complete the earring.
