    Quick Project Steps

Prepare the base: String 12 11/0 seed beads onto your beading thread and tie them in a loop. Secure with a stop bead. Start Peyote Stitch: Pick up two beads, skip one on the base row, and thread through the next bead. Repeat until you complete the circle. Add more rows: Continue adding rows using different colors for ease. With each row, skip beads and thread through alternating beads to build the bead cover. Secure the sides: As the cover grows, it will start to form around the wooden bead. Tighten your stitching as you progress. Finish the top and bottom: Cinch in the beads at the end of your cover to securely wrap the bead inside. Weave and secure: Once the bead cover is fully formed, weave in and secure your thread, cutting off any excess.
