Quick Project Steps

Learn how to use IrisDuo beads and crystals to easily create a comfortable bracelet in this PotomacBeads tutorial. The Twin Gems IrisDuo & PieDuo Bracelet is a great project for beaders of all skill levels to enjoy. 1. Put a stop bead onto a comfortable length of DragonThread, leaving a short tail. Pick up 2 IrisDuos and a Potomac crystal round bead. Repeat the pattern. Make sure you thread through the bottom hole of the IrisDuo beads with the puffed side up. Bring the needle and thread back up through the first 2 IrisDuos and pull the beads together. Sew through all the beads again to reinforce, coming out of the 2mm Potomac crystal. 2. Watch the Twin Gems IrisDuo & PieDuo Bracelet tutorial to follow along with Anna as she shows you how to create the pattern used to design the sections of the beaded bracelet and embellish them with PieDuo beads and Potomac Pearls. 3. Pick up a couple 11/0 seed beads and pass through one hole of a cup button. Add a seed bead, a pearl and another seed bead to embellish and sew back down through the second hole of the cup button. Pick up a couple more 11/0 seed beads and sew down into the project. Reinforce. Add Potomac pearls to the edge of the beaded bracelet and make a loop out of seed beads on the other end to hold the cup button clasp. The Twin Gems IrisDuo & PieDuo Bracelet pattern can be used with multiple kinds of beads. Have fun making different styles with your favorite 4mm and 2mm beads to create unique jewelry for yourself and others.
