    Quick Project Steps

Prepare Materials: 11/0 seed beads in two or three colors. 2mm or 3mm crystals (optional for branches). Dragon Thread. Wire guards and ear wires. Create the Base: String four 11/0 seed beads and tie a knot to form a diamond shape. Pass through one bead to prepare for right-angle weaving. Start Right-Angle Weave (RAW): Add three seed beads to the top bead of the diamond. Pass through the starting bead to complete the first RAW unit. Add Side Branches: String one bead for the branch and another bead as a stopper. Pass back through the first bead and secure it to the side of the RAW unit. Expand Branch Lengths: Gradually increase branch lengths by adding more beads for each section. Incorporate crystals to replace two beads for a sparkling effect. Continue Weaving: Repeat the RAW and branch steps until the feather reaches the desired length. Attach Wire Guard: At the top of the earring, add a wire guard to protect the thread. Reinforce the thread by looping through the guard multiple times. Tie Off Threads: Securely knot the thread, ensuring it’s hidden between beads. Trim the excess thread or burn it with a thread burner. Add Ear Wires: Use pliers to attach the ear wire to the wire guard. Ensure the wire is tightly closed for durability. Finish and Style: Adjust branches for symmetry and style as desired. Enjoy your elegant handcrafted earrings!
