Quick Project Steps

Learn how to use a variation of a Herringbone stitch to create the Cobra Bangle in this PotomacBeads tutorial. Add a pop of color to the snakeskin look of the pattern by beading in some Potomac crystal rondelles.
1.Put a size 10 beading needle onto .006 Wildfire thread. Add a stop bead to the thread leaving about 3 inches for a tail. Pick up 4 beads and bring the needle back up the first 3 beads. This sets up the base for the Herringbone stitch.
2.Watch the Cobra Bangle tutorial with Allie as she shows you how to continue with a tubular Herringbone stitch to create the beaded bracelet.
3. Remove the stop bead when you have reached the desired length. Stitch and sew the two ends together, making sure that there are no twists in the bracelet. Add crystals to the top of the bracelet. Tie off the thread and burn down the loose ends with a thread zap.
The Cobra Bangle is a great bracelet to have multiples of to stack. Make some to give to a jewelry lover in your life. Check out the selection of quality beads at PotomacBeads to find anything you need to help you on your beading journey.

I have a hard time visually watching some of the tutorials. The white background fades out the beads and I can't see the instructions. I am a visual person and I need to see what is going on. I really like patterns.
