Quick Project Steps

This PotomacBeads tutorial teaches you how to easily embellish a right angle weave to create the Zion Necklace. The natural colors and light sparkle of the crystals make this necklace easy to pair with jeans or a more dressy look, making this a go-to piece of jewelry.
1. Put a stop bead onto about 5 feet of .006 Wildfire thread, leaving 3 inches for a tail. With a size 10 needle pick up 4 Potomac crystal bicones and bring the needle back up the first 3. This creates the first right angle weave box.
2. Watch the Zion Necklace tutorial to follow along with Allie’s step-by-step directions to create the design of the beaded necklace with the RAW stitch.
3. Use a cup button and seed beads to make a clasp and loop at the ends of the beaded chain. Bring the needle and thread back to the stop bead. Tie the two ends together and burn the thread edges down with a thread zap.
You can use the techniques taught in this Zion Necklace tutorial to create all sorts of beautiful beaded projects. Have fun experimenting with your favorite beads and colors from PotomacBeads.
