Quick Project Steps

Tereza from PotomacBeads is here to show us how to make some spectacular crystal wreath earrings using her beaded netting technique. You won't want to miss this tutorial!
To make this pair of earrings you will start in the middle of the wreath adding tubelets as a base for the crystals and then bead your way out to the outer row with tubelets on the outside. Then you will add the tassel.
Start with about 3 feet of thread, put on 48 seed beads and tie them into a circle. This will be the interior of the wreath. Use a right angle wave to add tubelets and seed beads to make another ring around the outside. Don't pull the thread too tight or the center may pop up.
Add the Montees to the windows you have created. Line the outside of circle with the tubelets. Add an earwire. You can choose to keep your earring as a simple crystal wreath at this point or add the tassel for extra flair. Watch Tereza in the Crystal wreath earring tutorial to see step-by-step directions.
These Crystal wreath earrings offer a great deal of movement and are very light weight. The autumn colors in these earrings are sure to please anyone who sees them. The tassel adds a touch of fun and whimsy. This is a great project to make for yourself or a friend. It is not difficult and only requires a few supplies that you can find at PotomacBeads.
