    Quick Project Steps

PotomacBeads tutorials are a great way to learn how to make beautiful jewelry. In this tutorial, we will show you how to make Allie's Porthole Earrings. These earrings are perfect for anyone who loves the sea or dreams of adventure.
Sew through a QuadBow through hole number two from the exterior side to the interior, add on a PieDuo from the arch towards the point. Add another PieDuo from the point side to the rounded edge. Put on another QuadBow again from hole two but this time from the interior to the exterior, add on three seed beads and thread down through hole three of the QuadBow and out through the PieDuo. Add more QuadBows and PieDuos to complete the circle.
Add four crystals to the interior of the circle with a ring of seed beads around them. Watch Allie in the Porthole Earrings tutorial as she shows you step-by-step how to complete the edging with crystals and seed beads.
Add some more embellishment with crystals and add the wire guard. Tie off the thread ends and add the earwire.
Porthole earrings have a fun design. They are a great way to experiment with the QuadBow and PieDuo beads. You can use them to create a variety of looks, from casual to dressy.
