Jumping Jack Bracelet Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • Round Duo Beads (5mm two-hole)
  • Miyuki 3mm Bugle Beads (Metallic Brown Iris)
  • 8/0 Miyuki Seed Beads (Duracoat Opaque Watermelon)
  • 15/0 Miyuki Seed Beads (Duracoat Galvanized Champagne)
  • SS12 Rose Montees (Crystal Silver Color)
  • Clasp: Cut Button (Vintage Copper Color)
  • Beading Thread: .006 Wildfire (Green)
  • Size 12 English Beading Needle
  • Thread Zap II or similar for cutting and burning thread

    Quick Project Steps

    Prepare Your Materials: Gather all beads, the clasp, thread, and needle as listed.
    Thread Your Needle: Cut about 5 feet of beading thread and thread your needle, creating a stop bead to secure the work.
    Begin Weaving: Start with a right angle weave, integrating round duo beads and bugles to form the bracelet's foundation.
    Add Montees: Place montees diagonally within the design for embellishment, using 15/0 seed beads to secure them in place.
    Attach the Clasp: Add the cut button clasp at one end and create a loop with seed beads at the other end for closure.
    Decorative Options: Optionally, add decorative seed bead loops around selected round duo beads for additional embellishment.
    Finalize: Tie off and burn the thread ends to secure your work.
