    Quick Project Steps

Show your love for buttons with this adorable Criss Cross Button bracelet. Learn a new and interesting way to knot together buttons in this tutorial from PotomacBeads.
    1. Gather up the Chinese knotting cord, Miyuki seed beads and your favorite buttons. You will also need some super glue, scissors, and a ruler.
    2. Cut about double your wrist size plus about 10 inches of cording. Glue the bottom half inch of the ends of the cord to keep it from fraying when threading the buttons. Choose your favorite button to be the clasp. Thread it on the cord and slide to the center, tie a knot to keep it in place. Thread the next button on by bringing one end up through the button hole and the other end down through the other hole. Push the button towards the knot and tie another overhand knot beside the button. Continue in this manner to make your Criss Cross Button bracelet.
    3. When you have all the buttons on, tie another double knot, leaving enough space for the first button to fit inside. Double check the size before you pull the knot tight. Put a couple seed beads on each end to decorate. Tie a knot on each end at slightly different lengths. Trim down the excess.
