Quick Project Steps

Learn how to make a component based beaded necklace using IrisDuo beads in this PotomacBeads tutorial. The High Rock Necklace is a fun project that is suitable for most beading skill levels.
1. Put a size 12 beading needle onto about 5 feet of size 6 DragonThread. Pick up 4 IrisDuo beads with an 11/0 seed bead in between each one. Let the beads drop to the end of the thread and tie them into a knot. Sew through an IrisDuo an 11/0 seed bead and another 11/0. Step up by bringing the needle back through the second hole of the IrisDuo.
2. Watch the High Rock Necklace tutorial to follow along with Allie as she guides you through the steps to create the beaded components for the necklace project.
3. Add two 15/0 seed beads, a wire guard and 2 more 15/0s to the top AVA bead in the beaded component. Add another wire guard to the other side of the AVA bead. Reinforce. Tie off the thread and burn the loose edges. Connect the components with jump rings. Attach a length of Potomax chain to each side and add a lobster clasp.
The High Rock Necklace design offers an array of different jewelry options by using the various styles of components. Change it up and make a matching bracelet and earrings for a complete set of handmade jewelry.

They make it easy to order, have comparable prices, and many choices including beads not found in other stores. Also love the designs and the fact there is a pattern for each.

Products are easy to find on the website. Large selection of beads and good sales. I have had some log in issues. I have also had issues with bead quality. Some aren’t drilled all the way and the color flaked off of lined beads.
