Quick Project Steps

Learn how to use 2 needles to make charming little components in this PotomacBeads tutorial. The Firefly Bracelet is a suitable project for most beading skills.
1. Put 2 size 12 needles onto 5 feet of .006 Wildfire beading thread. Pick up an 11/0, 15/0 and an 11/0. Bring both needles up through the cup button. Make sure both sides of the thread are of equal length. Add three 15/0s to each needle. Bring both needles through an 11/0 in the same direction.
2. Watch the Firefly Bracelet tutorial with Allie to follow along with her step-by-step directions to create the beautiful beaded bracelet using IrisDuos and RounTrio beads.
3. When you get to the end of the project, bring both the threads up through the cup button again to reinforce. Bring the thread and needles to the back of the project to the inner point of the last component. Tie a knot and burn the loose thread edges flush.
The Firefly Bracelet is made with oval shaped components containing tiny wings. You can use the component design to create matching earrings. Try switching out the RounTrios for faceted RounTrios for a more blingy look.
