Wash Board Earrings
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • Two-hole beads (e.g., two-hole bars, round Duos, lentils)
  • Ball pins (3mm, 21 gauge) in gunmetal or gold-plated options
  • Seed beads (11/0, for spacing between two-hole beads)
  • Ear wires (sterling silver, goldfill, gunmetal, stainless steel)
  • Pliers: round nose, wire cutter, flat nose, bent nose

    Quick Project Steps

    Prepare Materials: Gather two-hole beads, 11/0 seed beads, ball pins, and ear wires.
    Assemble Beads: Start by stringing two-hole beads and 11/0 seed beads alternately on the ball pins.
    Bend Wires: Use pliers to bend the wires at both ends of the beads to create the washboard shape.
    Finish Ends: Wrap and trim the wire ends to secure the beads in place.
    Attach Ear Wires: Open the loop on the ear wires and attach the beaded design.
    Repeat for Second Earring: Ensure both earrings are symmetrical.
