Make a Twisted Wire Bangle Bracelet
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • 20 gauge "fancy round" Beadalon German style wire (non-tarnish brass color).
  • 18 gauge round wire.
  • Amethyst faceted rondelles (5x8).
  • Sharpie marker.
  • Wire cutters.
  • Needle nose pliers (straight or bent).
  • Round nose pliers.

    Quick Project Steps

    Cut approximately 10 inches of 18 gauge round wire.
    Form a loop at one end using round nose pliers to stop beads from sliding off.
    Slide on amethyst faceted rondelles onto the 18 gauge wire.
    Cut 20 inches of 20 gauge twisted wire, wrap it around the 18 gauge wire near the first bead.
    Continue adding beads and wrapping the twisted wire, ensuring two full turns around the 18 gauge wire between beads.
    Finish wrapping, cut the excess twisted wire, and form a loop at the other end of the 18 gauge wire.
    Create an S-hook clasp using the remaining wire, shaping around a Sharpie marker for consistency.
    Adjust the eye pins at both ends to ensure they face up and down, then attach the clasp.
