    Quick Project Steps

Gather Materials: 18-gauge wire for the hoop base. 22-gauge wire for coiling and securing beads. Crystals for decoration. Pliers (round-nose and needle-nose) and wire cutters. Mandrel or pen for shaping. Cut the Wires: Cut 6–7 inches of 18-gauge wire for the hoop. Cut 8–10 inches of 22-gauge wire for the coiling and beads. Start Coiling: Wrap the thinner wire (22-gauge) around the thicker wire (18-gauge) four times to create a stable base. Add Beads: Thread a crystal bead onto the thinner wire. Wrap the thinner wire around the thicker wire four more times to secure the bead. Repeat this process for all beads. Adjust and Tighten Coils: Use pliers to align and tighten the coils. Ensure the coils are evenly spaced for a polished look. Shape the Hoop: Bend the wire into a hoop using a mandrel or pen for uniformity. Create the Ear Wire: Bend the longer end of the hoop wire at a 90-degree angle. Use round-nose pliers to form a small loop and decorative coil. Finalize the Design: Trim excess wire with cutters and refine the hoop shape as needed. Repeat steps to create the matching earring. Customize Your Style: Experiment with bead types, wire gauges, or additional embellishments to personalize your design.
