Cup Chain Earrings Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • Memory wire (at least one loop)
  • 24 gauge wire (Artwire, silver, gold-plated, or sterling)
  • Potomac Crystal Cup Chain - Crystal AB | SS16 | 4mm | Silver Plated
  • Jump rings
  • Ear wires
  • Tools: cutters, round nose pliers, memory wire cutters

    Quick Project Steps

    Prepare Memory Wire: Create loops on both ends of the memory wire that meet in the middle.
    Start Wire Wrapping: Use 24 gauge wire to wrap tightly under the first loop of the memory wire.
    Attach Cup Chain: Position the cup chain under the wrapped wire, wrapping the wire tightly around between crystals.
    Continue Wrapping: Keep wrapping the wire around the memory wire and cup chain until the entire loop is covered.
    Secure Ends: Wrap the ends of the memory wire together with the wire to secure the cup chain.
    Add Jump Rings and Ear Wires: Use a jump ring to connect the loops and attach the ear wire for hanging.
