How to use Guru Beads Tutorial

    How to use Guru Beads Tutorial
    The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • Tassel
  • Cording (Size 8 silk beading cord)
  • Round beads (8mm, Picasso Jasper recommended)
  • Guru beads (10mm with three holes)
  • Tools: scissors, super new glue, pliers or tweezers, bead mat

    Quick Project Steps

    Prepare Your Materials: Gather your tassel, silk cording, round beads, and Guru bead.
    Prepare the Silk Cording: Stretch the silk cording to eliminate any slack.
    Start Knotting: Begin by knotting one end of the silk, adding beads one by one, and knotting between each bead.
    Incorporate the Guru Bead: Once half the beads are added, incorporate the Guru bead by threading through its three holes, attaching the tassel at the bottom.
    Finish Beading: Continue adding the remaining beads, knotting between each one.
    Close Off the Mala: Tie off the silk cording at the end, securing it with a knot and a dab of super new glue.
