Chain & Pearl Lariat Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • Three pearls in graduated sizes
  • Fine silver electroplated chain (pre-cut into two 8-inch sections and additional shorter sections)
  • 26-gauge wire
  • Lobster clasp
  • Round nose pliers
  • Wire cutters
  • Bent needle nose pliers

    Prepare Your Materials: Gather three pearls, chain sections, 26-gauge wire, a lobster clasp, and pliers.
    Create the First Attachment: Use round nose pliers to form a loop with the wire, attach it to an 8-inch chain section, and a shorter piece, then add the smallest pearl.
    Add the Middle Pearl: Repeat the process to attach the middle-sized pearl, ensuring it hangs at the desired length from the first pearl.
    Finish the Y Shape: Attach the largest pearl at the end, creating the Y shape of the necklace.
    Adjust Chain Lengths: Ensure all chain lengths are even and make any necessary adjustments.
    Add the Clasp: Use jump rings to attach the lobster clasp to the ends of the chain.
