Quick Project Steps

In this video tutorial, Allie will teach you how to make a contemporary styled leather beaded cuff. This cuff is the perfect fall accessory with its nature-inspired look. With just a few supplies and some simple techniques, you can make this cuff in no time at all. So grab your supplies and let's get started!
1. Cut two pieces of 2mm Greek leather cording, each piece should be double your wrist length plus 5 inches. Use a size 10 needle and 5-8 feet of beading thread. Fold a piece of the leather in half and use the end of the thread to tie knots around the leather to form a loop for the button. Pick up a crystal and slide it to the knotted end. Holding it in between the 2 strands of leather. Bring the needle around the leather and through the bead. Do this for both strands to hold the bead in place. Add gemstones in this manner until you have about the length of your wrist minus half an inch. Leave a tiny gap between the beads.
2. Watch the Beaded Leather Cuff tutorial and Allie will guide you step-by-step through the process of adding the outer piece of leather and another strand of beads.
3. When you get to the end and have tied on the button, put a dab of glue on the knot ends throughout the project. Burn down any excess you may have.
This Beaded Leather Cuff is extremely versatile. You can use your favorite beads and colors and add strands to get your desired width. It would make a great gift. Who wouldn’t be happy to receive such a thoughtful present?
