Quick Project Steps

Start by threading your needle with about 24 inches of beading thread.
Pick up four 8/0 seed beads, form a circle by passing through all beads again, and tighten to start the cross's center.
For the cross arms, use a ladder stitch to add two beads at a time, building out from the center in the four cardinal directions.
Continue adding beads until your cross reaches the desired size, using 22 to 24 beads for a standard pendant size.
Create a bail at the top of the cross by adding 10 11/0 seed beads, passing back through the last bead to form a loop, and secure the thread.
Finish by weaving the thread back through several beads to reinforce the structure, tie off and cut the thread, then apply a small amount of glue to the knot for security.
