Sea Glass Pendants Tutorial

- This tutorial video from PotomacBeads teaches you how to easily wrap sea glass with wire to create your own unique pendants. Sea Glass Pendants Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • Sea glass (or any stone of choice)
  • 20 gauge square wire (approx. 10-12 inches depending on the size of the stone)
  • Wire cutters
  • Round nose pliers
  • Flat nose pliers

    Quick Project Steps

    Select a piece of sea glass and 10-12 inches of 20 gauge square wire.
    Determine the back of the sea glass and align the wire across it.
    Wrap the wire around to the front, crossing at the back, and pinch to secure.
    Bring the wire back to the front for a second wrap and prepare to form the bail.
    Use round nose pliers to create a loop at the top for the bail, then secure the wire by tucking it under the last loop.
    Decorate the front with a wire coil for added artistic flair.
    Finish by adjusting the bail and ensuring the pendant is securely wrapped.
