    Quick Project Steps

Learn how to use beads to create this floral design using the classic Czech dagger shape. This bezel is a project suitable for most beading skill levels and will make a great statement piece for a beautiful necklace. 1. Put an 11/0 seed bead onto the end of the size 6 DragonThread and thread through it again to create a stop bead for your project. Start to create the bezel for the Czech cabochon by adding on 11/0 seed beads in a peyote stitch formation. 2. Watch the Gerbera Daisy Pendant tutorial to learn how to add on the daggers as petals in the design as well as close the bezel to make the Czech cabochon fit securely. 3. Once the design is completed, add on the bail to complete the pendant design and wear on a leather or cotton finished necklace cord as a springtime statement jewelry piece. Use the skills learned in this peyote stitch bezel design to create and adapt to larger or smaller focal piece sizes. The daggers on this design can be switched out to Czech glass, gemstones, or pearls for an alternative look, creating a new floral design with the similar step by step techniques. I watched several "how to" videos, which answered questions I had and decided to shop.  I purchased items from the videos and look forward to using them.

The pull-down menu under the "learn about" tab for "bead patterns" did not work, so I could not shop for patterns this time.
