Button Ring Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials for
  • Potomac Crystal Button (recommended mix pack of 10 different buttons)
  • IrisDuo Beads (metallic olivine used in the example)
  • Seed Beads (11/0 Duracoat Galvanized Sea Green)
  • Rose Montee (SS20 size, Olive Silver)
  • Size 10 Beading Needle
  • Wildfire Beading Thread (0.006” in Green)
  • Thread Burner or Scissors
  • Pliers (for threading the needle)

    Quick Project Steps

    Prepare Your Materials: Cut a 40cm piece of thread and thread both needles.
    Start Beading: Begin with an IrisDuo bead, adding seed beads and IrisDuo alternately.
    Add the Button: Place the crystal button in the center, threading through its holes.
    Secure with Rose Montee: Position the Rose Montee on top of the button, threading across it.
    Complete the Band: Continue adding IrisDuo beads and seed beads to form the ring band.
    Finish the Ring: Weave the threads through the beads to strengthen the structure and tie off the ends.
