In this tutorial, The Potomac Bead Company demonstrates how to use chain to make easy necklaces with a pendant onto which you can easily slide pandora style or other large hole beads.

Pandora Style Beaded Bead Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • Fine cable chain (thin enough to double through the bead's hole)
  • Pandora-style beads (or other large hole beads)
  • Headpin
  • Round nose pliers
  • Flat nose pliers (optional)
  • Wire cutters

    Quick Project Steps

    Start with a fine cable chain, approximately three feet in length.
    Select your Pandora-style bead or any large hole bead you prefer.
    Slide a bead onto a headpin.
    Using round nose pliers, make a loop at the top of the bead.
    Before coiling the top, slide the last links of the chain onto the wire loop.
    Secure the loop by wrapping the wire around 1-4 times, depending on the length of your headpin. Cut off the excess wire.
    Slide on your chosen bead to the double chain. Your versatile Pandora style necklace is ready to wear.
