    Quick Project Steps

Use this PotomacBeads tutorial to learn how to create the adorable floral components used in the Chrysanthemum Necklace.
1.Use a size 12 needle on about 4 feet of .005 thread to put on a stop bead. String 6 RounDuos on the thread, bring the needle back through bead 1 and 2 to form a circle. Step up to the exterior hole of the RounDuos.
2.Watch the Chrysanthemum Necklace tutorial to follow along with Allie’s step-by-step directions to create beaded necklace.
3.Once you’re done stringing the beaded chain, add the clasp. Thread through a couple more times to strengthen it. Bring the thread back through the the entire chain to get to the other side. Add the other side of the clasp. Remove the stop bead and tie the thread ends together. Glue the cabochon into the clasp.
There are endless possibilities of how you can use the component design from the Chrysanthemum Necklace. Make earrings, bracelets, a ring or even a cute brooch. Handmade beaded projects make great heartfelt gifts.
