    Quick Project Steps

Designer Tereza is back with another stunning pair of earrings. A tubular peyote stitch embellishes an endless ring to hold the gorgeous bezelled pear drop crystal. These Hula Hoop Earrings are sure to turn heads.
Think about which color thread you would like to use as it will be visible on the outside edge of the ring. Use a size 10 or 12 needle. Start with four seed beads and thread around the ring and back through all four beads. Go through the first bead one more time. From this point you are ready to start your tubular Peyote stitch.
Next you will bezel the chaton with a new piece of thread. Put on 22 delica beads. Use a regular Peyote stitch to complete. Add 15/0s to the gaps. Insert the Chaton and use 15/0s to close the bezel on the front. Add the earwire. Watch Tereza in the Hula Hoop Earrings tutorial for step-by-step directions.
Connect the two pieces. Add on the bezelled pear drop crystal. Knot the thread and burn the edges.
Made out of 3 components these earrings can be made to suit your personal style. However you choose to make them, these Hula Hoop Earrings will be a dazzling addition to your jewelry collection. Potomac Beads has a great selection of beads and findings to help you make these earrings exactly the way you want them. So have fun and get creative!

I love everything about Potomac beads, except for the dragon fire white thread. I bought the time before it was a 250 spool and I bought 5 pound because the 6 pound I had was just humongous you've done some changing with your threads since the last time I bought some. I fell and broke my right arm and my rotator cuff and wasn't able to be for quite a while. I just pulled out the 5 pound white thread. I bought the time before and tried it. I don't even think I could bezel with it. The 6 pound does beautiful. I took one arm span of thread off the spool and I won't be using it. It's a shame because I truly love yours thread.
