Flat Spiral Tutorial

This video tutorial from PotomacBeads shows you step-by-step how to make an outstanding flat spiral stitch bracelet. This is an incredibly versatile stitch that allows you to use nearly any shape or size of beads, especially rounds and bicones.     Quick Project Steps

    Prepare Materials: Gather cat's eye beads, Swarovski crystals, Miyuki seed beads, toggle clasp, beading needle, and thread.
    Start with Core Beads: Add a stop bead to your thread, then string two cat's eye beads as the bracelet's core.
    Adding the Spiral: For each side, add five seed beads, one crystal, and five more seed beads. Sew back through the core beads to form the spiral.
    Continue the Pattern: Add one core bead at a time, repeating the spiral addition on each side.
    Clasp Attachment: Once the desired length is achieved, add the toggle clasp by sewing a loop of seed beads through which the toggle will attach.
    Finish the Bracelet: Secure the thread with knots and trim any excess.
