Quick Project Steps

These majestic Romanov Earrings feature an elegant pearl delicately balanced in a graceful teardrop loop created with a herringbone stitch.
Put a stop bead on the thread, leaving about two inches at the end. Begin the herringbone stitch by picking up four 11/0 beads. Bring the needle back through the first two beads to create two sets of two beads side by side. Add a 15/0 and sew through the third original bead. Pick up two more 11/0s and sew through bead number four. Add another 15/0 sewing back through bead one. Add two more 15/0s to bead number two.
Watch Allie in the Romanov Earrings tutorial to see how to continue with the herringbone stitch and attach the two ends to form the teardrop shape.
Add a jump ring with seed beads to the top of the teardrop. Sew the pearl into the bottom of the teardrop. Tie off the thread ends and burn down. Add the earwire.
