  • Quick Project Steps

Gather your materials: You’ll need 6 mm pearls, 8/0, 11/0, and 15/0 seed beads, 3 mm bugle beads, thread, and needle. Begin the base: String 6 mm pearl beads and create a loop with five size 8/0 seed beads around each side of the pearl. Reinforce the structure: Go back through the pearl and beads to tighten and secure the loop. Add bugle beads: String a sequence of a size 15/0 seed bead, a bugle bead, and another size 8/0 seed bead. Go through the design and add these "spokes" around the perimeter. Complete the pattern: Add the spokes evenly around the pearl, pulling the thread tightly to ensure no gaps. Finish the earring: After completing the spokes, attach an earring hook to complete the design.
