Chain & Rondelle Bracelet Tutorial

This tutorial from The Potomac Bead Company shows you how to make a chain and rondelle stretch bracelet using any type of faceted rondelle beads, chain with stretchy string. This is a fun and easy bracelet if you have the right chain.

The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • Faceted rondelle beads
  • Large link chain (preferably curved for a better fit around the beads)
  • Stretchy string
  • Super glue (for securing knots)

    Quick Project Steps

    Select a large link chain, preferably curved to complement the bead shapes.
    Thread the stretchy string through the first link of the chain.
    Add rondelle beads, alternating the placement between the top and bottom strands for the first set, then only the middle strand for the next set.
    Continue the pattern, alternating bead placement for each chain segment until you reach the desired bracelet length.
    Secure the ends by tying the stretchy string and applying super glue to the knots for durability.
