Caribbean Jewels Bracelet Tutorial

Caribbean Jewels Bracelet Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • 2-Hole Brick Beads - Metallic Flax, ~48 Pieces
  • Potomac Crystal Chatons 8mm - White Opal, ~11-12 Pieces
  • Potomac Crystal Rivoli 10mm - Crystal Capri Gold, 1 Piece
  • Miyuki Seed Beads 15/0 - Blush Lined Crystal AB, ~1.5 Grams
  • Miyuki Seed Beads 15/0 - Duracoat Galvanized Champagne, ~1.5 Grams
  • Cup Buttons - Aztec Gold, 1 Piece

    Quick Project Steps

    Learn a simple method to bezel Potomac crystal chatons in this PotomacBeads tutorial to create this dazzling Caribbean Jewels bracelet. This fine piece of jewelry is sure to catch the light and the eyes of all who see it.
    1. Put a stop bead on about 5 feet of .006 beading thread using a size 12 needle. Pick up a pattern of 4 bricks and champagne colored seed beads. Bring the needle back through all the beads to create a loop. Push the loop down to the stop bead.
    2. Step up to the top hole of the brick, add 4 blush colored seed beads and bring the needle to the second hole of the next brick in line. Follow along with Allie in the Caribbean Jewels bracelet tutorial as she gives you tips and tricks to creating the bezeled components.
    3. Add the cup button to the end when you have reached the desired length. Tie a knot in the thread an burn down. On the starter side, take off the stop bead and put on the needle. Make a loop out of seed beads, big enough to go around the cup button. Tie off the thread and burn the end flush. Glue a crystal inside the cup button.
