Seed Bead and Wire Bangle Bracelet Tutorial

This video tutorial from The Potomac Bead Company shows you how to make a simple seed bead bangle using wire and your choice of seed beads. You can also use other small beads (3-4mm rounds/cubes) if you prefer as well. Gemstones, crystals, and Czech fire polished will work well for that. Enjoy!

Seed Bead and Wire Bangle Bracelet Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • 20 gauge wire (Art wire recommended)
  • 22 or 24 gauge wire
  • Seed beads (6/0 size recommended)
  • Round nose pliers
  • Cutter (Flat nose or chain nose pliers as optional)

    Prepare a base by wrapping 20 gauge wire around a paper mandrel sized to your wrist.
    Secure the base with 22 gauge wire.
    Pre-bead a long piece (about 4 feet) of 22 gauge wire with 6/0 seed beads.
    Start wrapping the beaded wire around the base at the secured part, ensuring tight wraps without visible base wire.
    Continue wrapping, managing the long wire carefully to maintain even bead distribution.
    Finish by creating a focal wire knot with the remaining wire, adjusting its size as desired.
