This video tutorial from The Potomac Bead Company shows you how to make our Caduceus bracelet, using Czech SuperDuo beads and Miyuki seed beads. The Caduceus is an ancient Greek symbol, which has been used as a medical symbol in the United States beginning in the 19th century. The symbol has two snakes wrapped around a winged staff. Caduceus Bracelet Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • Twin beads or SuperDuo beads
  • Miyuki seed beads sizes 11/0 and 8/0
  • Pewter clasp and toggle or a spacer bead resembling the Caduceus symbol
  • English beading needles size 10 or 12
  • Fireline or Wildfire thread, .006 inch, in black

    Gather all materials: SuperDuo/twin beads, 11/0 and 8/0 Miyuki seed beads, clasp, beading needles, and thread.
    Start with a two-needle technique, stringing beads to form the center part of the bracelet.
    Continue adding beads to the middle portion, following the pattern of adding SuperDuo beads and 11/0 seed beads.
    Begin working on the outer layers, ensuring proper tension to avoid twisting.
    Create a loop for the clasp and secure the bracelet's end.
