    Quick Project Steps

This PotomacBeads tutorial will show you how to use a knotting method to create a pearl necklace of opera length that you can wear as a single strand or a multi strand. The Opera Necklace gives a nice shine and sparkle to your outfits.
1.Measure out about 7 feet of size 3 Dragonthread. Leave about 6 inches at the end of the thread and tie a double knot. Use a big eye needle to pick up 3 Potomac pearls. Tie an overhand knot tight against the beads. You may find a beading awl helps out with this. Tie another knot.
2.Watch the Opera necklace tutorial to follow along with Allie as she creates this pearl necklace.
3.Create a pearl shortener with wire. Cut about 4 inches of 18ga wire. Bend the wire around something round like a large marker to form an S-hook. Bend the ends up towards the design.
The Opera necklace is a versatile piece of jewelry that you can wear as a long necklace or a shorter choker style necklace. You can find all the materials needed to make this pearl necklace and so much more at PotomacBeads

Potomac Beads is my go to online shop ever since Fusion Beads closed their online site. Potomac is a very good all around bead store and the first place I try for all beading supplies.
