Allie from PotomacBeads brings to you the Ahoy Interchangeable Tassel Pendant. This easy to make pendant can change from fun to formal with a quick tassel swap. This is a great tutorial for a beginning beader, but still a joy to make for an experienced beader. Let's start beading!

EVA beads - Jet 8 Pieces
2-Hole Halo Beads - Antique Silver 4 Pieces
PC Round 3mm - Half Silver (Sub 4mm or Swarvoski for EU), 4 Pieces
DiscDuo - Jet, 4 Pieces
90 mm Tassel - Cavern,1 Piece
Miyuki Seed Beads 15/0 - DC Galvanized Gold,~.5 Grams
Miyuki Seed Beads 11/0 - Crystal Lab Full, 8 Pieces
Chain,~25 inches

Quick Project Steps

Start with attaching a stop bead to your thread.
Thread through an EVA bead from the carrot side to the open side.
Add a Halo bead, a DiscDuo bead, and pass through the second hole of the Halo bead.
Add another EVA bead opposite the first, threading from the open side to the point.
Add seed beads along the top, incorporating a pattern of four 15/0s, one 11/0, and four more 15/0s.
Repeat the process for the remaining EVA beads to form the base of the pendant.
After completing the base, add decoration along the top to create a dome for the tassel.
Finish by adding crystals or additional seed beads for decoration and securing the thread.
