Quick Project Steps

In this tutorial from PotomacBeads you will be learning the herringbone stitch to create the Starcrossed earrings. The frosty metallic look makes these the perfect winter accessory.
Begin with four feet of thread on a size 10 or 12 needle. Add a stop bead to the end of the thread, make sure that it does not match the other beads in your project. Pick up an EVA bead from the point to the middle and add on two 8/0s, go back down the second hole of the EVA bead. Thread on a delica and then the next EVA bead. Repeat four times.
Watch the tutorial with Allie to see step-by-step directions to create your star crossed jewelry.
Once the earring is complete, sew through the beads to get to the stop bead. Remove it and tie a knot and burn the ends down with a Thread zap. Put on the earwire.
Show off your beading talent with these striking Starcrossed Earrings. They would make a great gift for someone special to keep them in style this holiday season. It's easy to personalize them by using different colors or choosing a different bead to hang from the bottom. It would be easy to use the Starcrossed earrings as a component piece for a matching pendant or bracelet. Find all the supplies you need at PotomacBeads.
