Beaded Hair Pin Tutorial

  • RoundTrio - Pastel Bordeaux, 9 pieces
  • Czech Faceted Round - Brass Gold 3mm, 9 pieces
  • Potomac Crystal Round - Garnet AB 2mm, 9 pieces
  • AB Filigree Flower 42mm, 1 piece
  • 2-Hole Cabochon - Jet Gold Splash, 1 piece
  • Miyuki Seed Beads 11/0 - Silver Lined Amethyst AB, ~ 1 gram
  • Beading Foundation - Black

    Quick Project Steps

    Start by creating a ring with RoundTrio beads, alternating with 11/0 seed beads.
    Add a second layer by incorporating 2mm PC Round beads between the RoundTrios.
    For the third layer, use 11/0 seed beads and 3mm Czech Faceted Rounds for added dimension.
    Secure the 2H 18 mm Cabochon in the center of the beaded component.
    Stitch the beaded component onto the AB Filigree Flower base.
    Prepare a piece of beading foundation, cut it into a circle, and attach the bobby pin by making slits for it to slide through.
    Finish by securing the bobby pin with glue if necessary and trimming any excess threads.
