Freeform Peyote Bracelet Tutorial

In today's video, I'm going to show you a new version of the FreeForm Peyote Bracelet. We previously did a FreeForm Peyote and this is essentially based on that stitch. What I love about this one is that it's not only perfect for Autumn but also looks great with any color combination. I'm working with Miyuki Seed Beads and Miyuki Cube Beads. Happy Beading!!

Freeform Peyote Bracelet Tutorial

  • Potomac Crystal Round Beads 2mm - Apricot AB, ~ 50 Beads
  • Miyuki Seed Beads 11/0 - Matte Transparent Dark Topaz AB, ~ 3 Grams
  • Miyuki Seed Beads 8/0 - Galvanized Yellow Gold, ~ 3 Grams
  • Miyuki Seed Beads 15/0 - Light Caramel Ceylon, ~ 3 Grams
  • Miyuki Cube Beads 1.8mm - Silver Lined Gold, ~ 1 Gram

    Quick Project Steps

    Gather Materials: Prepare the Miyuki Seed Beads (15/0, 11/0, 8/0), Miyuki Cube Beads, and Potomac Crystal Round Beads.
    Start with 15/0s: Begin with four groups of four 15/0 beads, planning for a gradual increase in bead size.
    Progressing Bead Sizes: Add three 11/0 beads for every four 15/0 beads, then two 8/0 beads for every three 11/0s, and finally, integrate the crystal beads.
    FreeForm Peyote Technique: Use the FreeForm Peyote stitch, ensuring to maintain a consistent width while allowing for natural wave patterns. Making the Clasp: Create a custom clasp using the bead sizes that complement the bracelet's overall design.
    Attaching the Clasp: Securely attach the clasp to your bracelet, completing the piece.
