Quick Project Steps

Take your hoops to the next level with just a few seed beads! In this tutorial, we'll show you how to upgrade your hoops using only a few seed beads to create these Chiseled Hoop Earrings.
You can choose to decorate the entire hoop or just focus on the bottom of the hoop. Gather up your seed beads and a size 12 needle. Tie about 2.5 feet of thread to the hoop, keep the knot to the inside of the hoop so it gets covered with beads.
Begin the brick stitch with 2 beads on your needle at first and then use one bead at a time. Continue along the edge of the hoop to finish the bottom row of seed beads. Allie uses 15 in this Chiseled Hoop earring tutorial.
Begin the top row of beads. Bring the needle through the bridge thread of the first row. Use the 15/0s to disguise the thread. When you have finished the row, tie the thread end between the rows of beads to hide the knot.
Making your own jewelry is a great way to save money and get exactly what you want. Chisel hoop earrings are a great example of this. With brick stitch, you can use any bead you would like to create a unique and stylish pair of earrings.
