Quick Project Steps

In this PotomacBeads tutorial, Dena will show you how to create her Mermaid’s Dress Earrings using Potomac’s metal ginko beads. 1. Put 4 seed beads onto the thread, let them drop to the bottom as you hold the tail thread. Bring the needle back up the beads and then pass through the first bead one more time. Pull the thread tight. Add another seed bead in between each of the existing beads to create corners. 2. Watch the Mermaid’s Dress Earrings tutorial to follow along with Dena as she shares step-by-step directions to create her dangle earrings. 3. Bring the needle and thread around the whole outer edge of the project to reinforce and tighten. Add a wire guard to the top of the earring. Knot the thread, burn down the ends. Add an earwire. The Mermaid’s Dress Earrings are fun to create and even more fun to wear! Bead a matching bracelet by using the same pattern and increasing the length.
