    Quick Project Steps

Designer Sheryl Steele's Celtic Cross Earrings feature the new PieDuo beads. These beads are great for beginner beaders and are perfect for creating simple earrings. With just a few materials, you can create these beautiful earrings.
Put a stop bead onto about 2 feet of thread. Using a size 10 needle put on a PieDuo first to form the outside of the cross. Add 3 seed beads and thread back down the PieDuo. Repeat 3 times. When putting in the forth piece you will be threading through the center.
Begin adding the second row of PieDuo beads. Two of them will have just seed beads, one will have the drop and one will have the wire guard for the earwire. Add a briolette to form the drop.
Add the wire guard to the top PieDuo. Then sew along the interior back towards the stop bead so you can tie the thread ends together. Tie the knot at the back of the cross and burn the edges.
