    Quick Project Steps

In this tutorial, we'll show you how to use a peyote stitch to bezel our Potomac Crystal Cushion. You can then add some wire guards and earwires to create these Cushion Crystal Bezeled Earrings, or make it into a necklace or button. The possibilities are endless!
Begin with 32 seed beads strung onto the thread. Bring the needle back through a couple beads to create a loop. Leave enough thread to hold onto or put a stop bead on. Using a peyote stitch you will add more seed beads to create a square shape.
Next you will begin a layer on top to build up doing 3-dimensional beading to create a bezel to hold the cushion bead. As you finish each row, give the thread a pull to tighten up the beads. Drop the crystal in, the 11/0 beads will act as prongs to hold it in.
Add the wire guard onto a corner, tie off the thread ends and add the earwire. Watch the Cushion Crystal Bezeled earring tutorial for full step-by-step instructions.
