    Quick Project Steps

The Calypso Bracelet is a playful looking bracelet that is suitable for casual settings or dressing up an outfit for a night out. Use this design, based on a Herringbone stitch, to make not only bracelets but also necklaces and earrings.
    1. Gather up the Potomac crystal rondelles, cup button and Miyuki seed beads. You will need a size 10 needle and .006 beading thread. Having a thread zap to burn down the lose threads is handy and having a BeadOnIt board will keep you beading more efficiently.
    2. Watch the Calypso Bracelet tutorial to follow along with the step-by-step directions to create the design using the Herringbone stitch.
    3. Make a loop at the end of the project for the cup button using seed beads. Reinforce by threading through the loop again. Bring the thread to the back to tie off and burn down the end.
Make multiple Calypso bracelets for a fun stack-able look. Or make a matching necklace for a set of jewelry you’ll love to wear out and show off.
