Appalachian Bracelet Tutorial

Appalachian Bracelet Tutorial
The Designer's suggested colors and materials:
  • AVA® Beads (metallic sun color)
  • Potomac Crystal Rondelles (metallic bronze 3x4mm, turquoise picasso 2x3mm)
  • Miyuki Seed Beads (15/0 in duracoat galvanized dark berry, 8/0 in matte metallic khaki iris, 11/0 in galvanized silver for stop bead)
  • Two-hole bricks (vintage copper)
  • Cup button (metallic bronze)
  • Beading thread (0.006" wildfire, white or green)
  • Beading needle (size 10 or 12 English beading needle)
  • Thread burner or cord cutter

    Quick Project Steps

    Start with laying out your materials and preparing your beading needle with thread.
    Begin the bracelet with a base layer of rondelles and bricks, using a stop bead to prevent beads from falling off.
    Introduce AVA beads into the design, alternating with the bricks to create the mountain peak effect.
    Add seed beads along the sides for detail and structure.
    Continue the pattern, creating layers and adding complexity to the bracelet design.
    Finish by adding a clasp and securing the ends of the bracelet for a polished look.
