Prepare Thread: Use size eight Dragon thread, cut about 3 feet, and add a stop bead. Start Peyote Stitch: Begin with two rows of Peyote Stitch using a pattern of four blue beads followed by red and white beads. Continue Peyote Stitch: Add new rows by threading beads according to the flag pattern, alternating blue and red/white stripes. Add Fringe: After completing the flag pattern, add fringe by threading 10 white beads, a gold bead, a blue bicone, another gold bead, and then threading back up. Decorate with Seed Beads: Add gold seed beads to represent stars on the blue section of the flag.
