Lotus Flower Pendant Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • Filigree Enameled Brass Element (24mm, blush color)
  • 11/0 TOHO Seed Beads (PermaFinish Peach Coral)
  • Freshwater Pearls (3 small per earring)
  • 2mm Glass Pearls
  • 15/0 Seed Beads (DuraCoat Galvanized Champagne)
  • Wildfire Beading Thread (Gray, .006)
  • Size 12 Beading Needle
  • Ear Wires
  • Tools: Thread Burner, Needle Nose Plier

    Quick Project Steps

    Prepare Your Materials: Gather all materials listed above.
    Tie Thread to Filigree Disk: Securely tie the beading thread to the filigree disk.
    Start Brick Stitch: Begin with two 11/0 seed beads, attaching them to the filigree using the brick stitch technique.
    Continue Brick Stitch: Add beads around the filigree disk, ensuring they sit next to each other without overcrowding.
    Add Pearls and 15/0 Beads: Integrate pearls and 15/0 seed beads between the 11/0 beads for a lacy effect.
    Create the Fringe: Utilize a combination of 11/0 seed beads and pearls to form the earring's fringe.
    Attach Ear Wires: Finish the earrings by adding ear wires.
    Repeat for Second Earring: Follow the same steps to create the second earring.
